From January to August 2022, I worked at Takeda as a graphic design intern for the Marketing and Program Operations team.
I was able to work on a variety of materials, including:
During my eight months with Takeda, I worked on over 40 projects, a large number of those independently carried from start to finish. As the lead graphic designer also had a number of other non-design responsibilities, I was oftentimes the sole designer for the internal creative team.
This opportunity taught me a lot about the entire creative process, especially communicating with project owners and figuring out how to best design for their needs. It also gave me a chance to use my own judgement on many important projects.
I was able to work on a variety of materials, including:
- Print reports and documentation
- Branding for internal initiatives
- Magazine and screen advertisements
- Conference branding and materials
- Award brochures
